Back soon

Will post something new shortly. Pretty busy with the moment with preparing a presentation for next week. Meanwhile Victor Reppert has a good series up concerning torture. Disconcerting to see that civilization has declined to such an extent that not torturing people is apparently something in need of argument.

Steven Carr zei

Why does God allow little children to be tortured?

Because it leads to a greater good, and he does not want to interfere with the free will of the torturers.

It is a moral good that people are free to choose to torture other people.

Perhaps some day you'll grow up and put out of your mind the leftism currently clouding your vision.

The argument (to misuse a word) isn't about whether it is or is not immoral to torture people. The argument isn't even about torture.

"Torture" (real or imagined) is the stalking-horse for the real goal of the leftists making these "arguments" ... just as Steven Carr's comment above has not one thing to do with torture.
